Jimmy Martin serves as Interim Pastor at FBC.  He and Laurie moved back to El Campo in December 2020 after living in other parts of Texas and, for the last 28 years, in Germany.   They have 3 married daughters and 8 grandchildren.  Ask him about the adventures God has given them.

Beaux Pace

Youth Pastor

Beaux Pace has been a follower of Jesus since he was 7 years old. Growing up in the church, Beaux had always been fascinated by the Christian faith and was very active throughout his high school years. At the age of 18, Beaux received his call to full time ministry attending Howard Payne University in hopes to develop his faith further and be trained to preach the Gospel to the nations. Being a kid at heart, Beaux has dedicated his life to relating to teenagers and walking alongside them to develop their faith and bring about a closer relationship to their savior. Beaux is a HUGE fan of the Houston Astros and loves to play disc golf when he has the free time. Challenge him to a round sometime!

Isaiah 40:28 - Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding.

Steve Lyford

Children's Pastor

Steve Lyford has been a follower of Jesus since he was 24 years old and has always had a love for children, so for the past 11 years he has dedicated his life to teaching the children at First Baptist Church of El Campo about Jesus.  Together with the amazing volunteers at FBC El Campo, Steve teaches the kids the love of Jesus and how to teach others about Jesus Christ.  In addition to working with the kids at FBC El Campo, Steve is a devoted husband, father, and teaches Cyber Engineering at Houston Baptist University.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through him who gives me strength

Diana Foshee

Ministry Assistant

Diana Foshee has enjoyed a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ for most of her life, and she has dedicated herself to serving the Lord and First Baptist Church of El Campo as Administrative Assistant since August of 1991. Diana and her late husband, Carl Foshee, joined the FBC of El Campo family in the early 1980s.  Diana and Carl began serving the church as Bible Study teachers, first for the College and Career Class, and then for the Fifth and Sixth Grade Children’s Class. Diana also served in the Women’s Missionary Union, while Carl served on committees and as a Deacon. In her spare time, Diana enjoys reading, watching funny or uplifting movies, and traveling to experience more of the wonder of God’s creation.

Psalm 23:6 - “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:  and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”  

Debbie Nemec

Debbie is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible. Debbie has been blessed to have enjoyed two totally different careers, 28 years at one and 15 years at the second. Within one month of retiring from her second career in 2018, God led her to First Baptist Church in El Campo with an offer to be a part-time office assistant. She has been faithfully serving ever since.

Ephesians 6:18 - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. with this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
